[edit] Hkelkar

  • Code letter: B

All three users have editing patterns similar to Hkelkar. Known Hkelkar socks and IPs can be found here and here. Hkelkar was banned by the ArbCom here, and has been indef-blocked for ban-evasion. Aksi_great (talk) 05:58, 25 March 2007 (UTC)

Confirmed Khazadum, Birdsmight, and Triedsolve are Hkelkar.
Unrelated: Scheibenzahl.
Confirmed additional Hkelkar accounts found on the IPs are Doubtgoing (talk contribs), Dutybirds (talk contribs), Needchest (talk contribs), Clothscale (talk contribs), Gainsbreak (talk contribs), Waterpath (talk contribs), Loveentry (talk contribs), Trusteggs (talk contribs), Helptypes (talk contribs), Nagsheh (talk contribs), Anodeabout (talk contribs), Guideurge (talk contribs), Enterviews (talk contribs), Upen (talk contribs), Humsafar9987 (talk contribs), and Asidetotal (talk contribs). [edit] 70.113.112.244

Ssee the edit pattern of 70.113.112.244 in the article National_Development_Front in the changes [1], [2], [3], [4]

It is similar to the edits done by User:Bakasuprman and User:Lionheart5 --Fear the Fire 11:40, 6 March 2007 (UTC)

Please read related RFCU on Wikipedia:Requests for checkuser/Case/Lionheart--Ed ¿Cómo estás? 02:14, 10 March 2007 (UTC)
Comment by outsider - There is no need to run this checkuser. I have already blocked this IP as an obvious sock of Hkelkar. - Aksi_great (talk) 08:51, 11 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Hkelkar

  • Code letter: F

Hkelkar is banned for however-long by ArbCom/the community/whatever.

The behaviour here is resoundingly similar. Both Hkelkar and Lionheart share a fondness for a similar POV/editing style on these articles:-

Checkusers, please also note Wikipedia:Requests for checkuser/Case/Lionheart, which is pending currently. There are a variety of other, closed requests which relate to that other request; namely, Wikipedia:Requests for checkuser/Case/Bakasuprman, in particular.

By the way, I think I'm perma-recused from any clerk actions related to Hkelkar et al. Daniel Bryant 05:58, 3 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Hkelkar

  • Code letter: F

This user is displaying some traits highly reminiscent of banned user (by ArbCom), Hkelkar. Given his other sock, Rumpelstiltskin223, was just blocked (and this account suddenly becomes more frequently used), I am pretty sure, but I want absolute confirmation first. Basically fiest edit was uploading a picture of something related to a "famous Baghdadi Jew philanthropist", which anyone who knows Hkelkar will find mildly amusing as being so blatant. Daniel.Bryant 09:57, 10 February 2007 (UTC)

Confirmed. Dmcdevit·t 09:59, 10 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Hkelkar

  • Code letter: B, F

User:Rumpelstiltskin223 has been blocked for a week for repeated 3RR violations. I'm very familiar with this editor and his editing patterns. In turn, other editors have alleged that Rumplestiltskin223 is a returning sockpuppet of Hkelkar. [5] As of Today an anonymous IP editor is editing in the exact same articles Rumplestiltskin223 edits, using the same line of rhetoric and engaging in the same practice of blanking text without explanation while demonstrating an awareness of WP policies at the same time (see edit comments). The IP shows a short editing career, and yet he immagiely jumps into the same articles Rumplestiltskin habitually edit wars in. [6] [7] What cements the arguement that the two are the same person is their shared view of Devdasi, including their rebuttals against it being considered a form of prostitution.[8][9] [10] MinaretDk 18:20, 3 February 2007 (UTC)

Edit:I'm new to these proceedings, learning the ropes from some admins. I found that checks on the Hkelkar account have been done in the past. Please just check the anon IP with Rumplestiltskin225. MinaretDk 18:34, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
(Recusing) "Hkelkar editing under any name or anonymous ip is banned from Wikipedia for one year". Daniel.Bryant 21:51, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
Despite the last check in December finding Hkelkar and Rumplestiltskin225 are {{unlikely}}, it has been suggested on ANI that holidays etc. were around that time, meaning Hkelkar would have been away from his old IP; he could be back now. I ask that Rumplestiltskin225 be checked against Hkelkar again for clarification. Daniel.Bryant 21:58, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
I can pretty much guarantee that Hkelkar is editing again. He made this following massive edit to add text to the article Persecution of Hindus:[11]. The anon IP address edited again recently to replace "citations needed" attached to Hkelkar's edits (under the banned sock "Shiva's Trident") with sources to several of those edits.[12] These sources are books, not websites, so it's impossible that anon simply went online and searched the text. One of the books is a 1969 edition, the other 1953. That two unrelated editors would know the exact sources to several occurances of small amounts of texts is almost unfathomable. The sources aren't popular books, and the sourced content aren't verses of poetry or scripture. Added to all the past cases of suspicions against Hkelkar, and the points I raised above, the case that Hkelkar is back is solid. If the anon turns out to match Rumplestiltskin's IP, then it can be safely confirmed that Rumplestiltskin is Hkelkar, regardless of a change of address by the editor. MinaretDk 22:06, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
The charges that users editing the same pages are the same user are baseless. Minaretdk is more likely a sock of banned anti-Semitic troll BhaiSaab (talk contribs) (who has tried to evade the ban before and got caught a few times).Bakaman 22:32, 3 February 2007 (UTC)

Confirmed that IP matches Rumplestiltskin; it's at nomachine.com, which is essentially an open proxy. Hkelkar is stale, though possibly other CUs might have IP backup info. One of Rumplestiltskin's IPs was an open proxy or compromised system of some sort; it's been blocked. I'm thinking we should do a range block on nomachine.com; someone might wish to research this. --jpgordon∇∆∇∆ 22:43, 3 February 2007 (UTC)

User:Bakasuprman is listed below as one of the suspected socks of Hkelkar/Rumplestiltskin223. Can someone check his ID against the anon and that of Rumplestiltskin? MinaretDk 03:11, 4 February 2007 (UTC)
Go ahead. Its not like you are going to get any sort of results in your trolling endeavor.Bakaman 03:17, 4 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Hkelkar

  • Code letter: B

User:Rumpelstiltskin223 is a sockpuppet of the user User:Hkelkar who was banned for 1 year on Dec 10. This user became active only after the ban, although the account was created earlier. Pattern of edit of both of them are same, revert all the edits by other users without discussing it, blatant POV pushing, personal attack, incivility. One intersting thing is that the edit using this account is done 24x7 non-stop. How is it humanly possible to edit without sleep or rest 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Same seems to be characteristic of Hkelkar also.

If there is some procedural problem in this request please let me know and I will correct it. This is my first such request and I am not aware of all the procedures. StopUntouchability 09:19, 30 December 2006 (UTC)

Just like Subhash and Hkelkar ref:Talk:Lalu Prasad Yadav, Talk:Kancha Ilaiah, and also see Talk:Yadav, before starting their trolling behaviour accuses users there of unfounded allegations also look at the Ip adress of this new user (left accidently from comment in continuity [13] ) traced to texas.  Ikon |no-blast 09:56, 19 November 2006 (UTC)

Yes, please execute this RFCU with celerity.Look carefully at the dns resolution. It points to HOUSTON, Texas. I am from AUSTIN, Texas. Ikonoblast could do well to learn some basic geography. There is a 162 mile distance between the two cities see.The fact that I am from Austin is established by this and the results of the previous RFCU.
Plus, the listing of Subhash Bose above is redundant as RFCU has already made a (misleading) declaration on this matter previously (see below).Hkelkar 13:29, 19 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Hkelkar

User densaguo was created after subhash was banned and then Hkelkar lobbied for Subhash's relaxation and extension of Holywarrior's ban [14] same is repeated by Densaguo [15] almost to word at a different place besides he refers Subhash as Netaji cannot be known to new user for he was not even useng it as signature  Ikon |no-blast 13:22, 28 September 2006 (UTC)

This accusation again? An RFCU was filed against me earlier for the expressed purpose of getting me blocked as part of a defmaation campaign against me and was rather quickly dismissed by admins. I believe that the motivations of the user who has files this RFCU should be analysed, given his block log both as ikonoblast and his earlier user User:Holywarrior.Hkelkar 21:47, 28 September 2006 (UTC)

Clerk note: See previous case Wikipedia:Requests for checkuser/Case/Subhash bose. The report wasn't "dismissed," the evidence at that time was inconclusive. Thatcher131 22:20, 28 September 2006 (UTC)

Reply to all - There have been three checkusers filed for Subhash_bose and one for Hkelkar all by the same cabal of editors. It seems WP:Tendentious editors (including the one that filed this RFCU) have nothing to do but to harp on about fantasical conspiracy theories.Bakaman Bakatalk 23:59, 28 September 2006 (UTC)

So what's the code letter? It's not specified. Shouldn;t this be "declined" per other RFCU's above?Hkelkar 04:42, 30 September 2006 (UTC)
Codes are A,B,C and F. Ikon |no-blast 06:14, 30 September 2006 (UTC)
But none of these users are banned.Hkelkar 15:48, 30 September 2006 (UTC)
Besides, if you see WP:Sock Puppet the criteria listed is that only block/ban evading sock puppets are bad and there have been no contribs from the other users in some time (one week I believe is the official time frame). Plus, baka's account has 1000+ edits so he's clearly not a sock. This RFCU is bogus.Hkelkar 16:13, 30 September 2006 (UTC)
Besides, I do not believe Subhash was ever banned. He was blocked for some time (he had some tendentious editing and was rather hotheaded but basically a decent editor) but the block is lifted.None of these users (myself included) have been abusive per wikipedia policies.Hkelkar 16:15, 30 September 2006 (UTC)

My attention has been drawn to this page by Hkelkar.I haven't been editing much on account of the fact that I have been busy with my academic work.I must point out that this "sockpuppetry" accusation is essentially a McCarthyist witch-hunt by Ikonoblast (formerly User:Holywarrior; if you have popups then you can see his former block-log) who has been a long time sparring partner, of sort, of mine and, from what I can see from his contribs, Hkelkar's as well. He has also made similar accusations before in order to extract summary judgements and get those people blocked who expose his illicit abuse of wikipedia (such as mis-citing POV claims, OR, and routine harrassment of several wikipedia users). As you can see, I have not been blocked for long time so the accusation of block/ban evading sockpuppetry is moot. If you see the earlier RFCU, then you will see that we have adequately proved (to the best of our abilities) as different users to two admins on irc (consult admins User:Srikeit and User:Blnguyen for details).Plus, I'm sure a simple perusal into the apache server logs will establish that we are two different people from two different places.RFCU's such as this, from what I can see, are a platform for summary judgements based on little or no evidence and no criteria other than the whims of the admin viewing the page. I urge the admins to investigate all objective records, including isp logs, Apache logs, and the past RFCU before making hasty decisions.G'Day.Shiva's Trident 17:03, 30 September 2006 (UTC)

  • It is Likely that Hkelkar is Subhash bose. The others are Inconclusive. (By the looks of it, with so much edit warring and misconduct all around, this conflict looks to be ready for arbitration, or decisive admin intervention.) Dmcdevit·t 19:33, 30 September 2006 (UTC)
May I ask on what basis is this assertion of likelihood made exactly? Thanks.Hkelkar 19:51, 30 September 2006 (UTC)
Clerk note: The basis for the assertation is based upon technical evidence provided by the checkuser tool extension to MediaWiki software wikipedia uses. It cross-links certain server logs. Due to privacy and checkuser policy, the technical evidence is never provided. Kevin_b_er 21:37, 30 September 2006 (UTC)
