Rhino Bucket is a hard rock band that has been compared toBon Scott-era AC/DC, something for which the band makes no apologies. However, thier music is not just an imitation of AC/DC,Rose Tattoo,Kix,Angel City,Guns n Roses etc but more a celebration of an era that many rock n roll fans longed to return to.
The band was formed in 1987 by Georg Dolivo (Guitar and lead vocals), Greg Fields (Guitar), Liam Jason (drums) and Reeve Downes (bass) in Van Nuys, California, USAThey were part of the then exploding Hollywood scene that produced contemporaries Junkyard,The Sea Hags,The Four Horsemen,The Hangmen etc. and released their self-titled debut in 1990.
Their second album, 1992's Get Used To It, also did well and the band and was featued in the hit movie "Waynes World" .They soldiered on and, in a novel twist, replaced drummer Liam Jason with former AC/DC drummer Simon Wright for their third album Pain in 1994.The band continued touring touring and touring, however by 1995 the rigors of the road had burnt the band out and they went on what turned out to be an extended hiatus. Rhino Bucket reformed in 2001 with Brian"Damage"Forsythe from KIX assuming guitar duties. They worked on a few movie soundtracks including the Pot cult film 'Rolling Kansas"and the title song for the movie "The Outdoorsmen - Blood, Sweat & Beers." In April 2006 they released their new album "...And Then It Got Ugly and toured with friends Broken Teeth, The Supersuckers and Kix."
2007 finds Rhino Bucket releasing 2 new cd's "Pain and Suffering" and "No Song Left Behind"and you guessed it more touring.
