River Jordan (known locally as Jordan River [1], [2]) is a small settlement on the west coast of Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada, located approximately 70 km west of Victoria at .
Historically a logging camp, River Jordan has become a destination for surfing in recent years. The local surfers are very territorial and many strangers find themselves discouraged from surfing here.
