My name is RoadDawg. I am the master of the roads.

RoadDawg was born in the mountainous uplands of the Isle of Saint Helena (1902), made famous as the place of Napoleon's imprisonment in the 19th century A.D. It has been said that RoadDawg is a direct descendant of the French Dictator, but this connection is yet to be proven true.

My life has been long and magnificent. I was there when the Maginot Line was built by the French. I saw the first trench dug in the Great War along the border of the Russian Empire and Poland. I shook hands with Woodrow Wilson and discussed with him his plans for the League of Nations. I spoke with William Jennings Bryan shortly before his stirring monologue during the Scopes Trial in Dayton, TN. I was standing in the middle of Wall Street on October 24, 1929. If you do not know the significance of this date, then you should not be reading this article. I listened to Neville Chamberlain rally the Britons for Appeasement as Adolf Hitler became ever more powerful in the German Empire. I was visiting Berlin when Adolf Hitler was proclaimed Chancellor by President Paul Von Hindenburg in 1933. I was in Warsaw in 1939 when the Germans invaded. I spoke with Winston Churchill in Calais a year before the declaration of Vichy France. I stood on the peak of the Matterhorn when Italy joined the Axis Powers. I was in Vienna when Elie Wiesel was shipped off to Auschwitz with his family. In 1944, I asked Franklin Delano Roosevelt if he knew about the Holocaust. I stood on the porch of the American Embassy in Tehran during the Yalta Conference. I rode in Josef Stalin's car on the way back to the airport in Tehran after the conference at Yalta. I pet Winston Churchill's bulldog on Downing Street in 1945. I was standing next to Harry S. Truman when he found out that President Franklin Delano Roosevelt had died in Warm Springs, GA. I was standing on Fleet Street in London during the London Blitz. When Harry Truman ordered the Atomic Bomb be dropped on Nagasaki, I was on a military cruiser off the coast of Hiroshima. I was in Washington, D.C. when V-E Day was declared and when V-J Day was declared.

I stood on the White Cliffs of Dover as the sun set September 16, 1945. I saw the war end. I was in Seoul when the Korean War began.
