Robert Brownlee Observatory is an astronomical observatory owned and operated by the Mountain Skies Astronomical Society. It is located in Lake Arrowhead, California, USA.
The observatory was named for Robert Brownlee, an astronomer who graduated from Sterling College in 1947. He got his M.S. in Astronomy from the University of Kansas and his Ph.D. in Astronomy and Astrophysics from Indiana University. He retired from Los Alamos National Laboratory in 1992, after 37 years of service.
