Clark's secret identity is at stake when Sam Phelan (Cameron Dye), a bad cop, witnesses him use his superhuman powers and blackmails Clark into joining forces with him. When Clark double-crosses the cop it causes problems for him and his family. Phelan plants a body on the Kent farm, and is killed in a shootout with the police when they arrive to investigate. Meanwhile, Lex receives a proposal from Victoria Hardwick (Kelly Brook), an old British flame. Victoria wants Lex to help her father take over Luthercorp but Lex counters with a plan to take over Victoria's Father's company.

The Smallville version of the cuirass of Alexander the Great, as seen in the first season episode, "Rogue"

Lex Luthor shows Clark Kent the armor that Alexander the Great wore in battle. It is studded with red and blue diamonds (the colors that represent Superman), and the front is decorated with a snake shaped like the letter "S".
