Ron Anderson (basketball)

Ronald Gene Anderson (born October 15, 1958 in Chicago, Illinois) is an American professional basketball player currently with La Seguiniere of the French basketball league. A 6'7" guard/forward from Fresno State, Anderson was selected by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the second round of the 1984 NBA Draft. Anderson would spend ten seasons in the NBA (1984-1994), playing with the Cavaliers as well as the Indiana Pacers, Philadelphia 76ers, New Jersey Nets and Washington Bullets. He ended his NBA career with 7,056 total points.
He also had an international career playing in France, and later in Israel after signing for Maccabi Tel Aviv. He was released before playing as he was injured, returned to play in Europe and later returned to Israel to play in Maccabi Natanya.
