Rossendale United F.C.

Rossendale United F.C. are a football club based in Rawtenstall which is in the Rossendale Valley, Lancashire, England. They were established in c. 1880 and have reached the FA Cup 2nd round once; in the 1971/72 season. They are currently playing in the Northern Premier League Division One and have won the North West Counties League twice. They once lost to Blackburn Rovers 11-0 at Ewood Park in the FA Cup 1st round, in October 13th 1884!
Their home ground is Dark Lane (which holds a record attendance of 18,439 and as at June 2006 their manager is Derek Egan.
