(some) Updated demographic information is available at http://www.roseville.ca.us/index.asp?page=1156 There may not be enough detail there to completely update this page though.
[edit] Removed Purely Commercial Links
I went through and pared some of the links down, removing those that were not relevant to Roseville (commission based links to nationwide Sat. providers, among others). Please read What Wikipedia is not before placing a commerical link. Thanks! Seaphoto 17:48, 28 June 2006 (UTC)

- There is still a list of "new stuff coming" that reads like a yellow pages ad. I'm going to remove it. It's an eyesore. If someone disagrees, post here and explain why you think it should be there... you can always revert. Kajmal 15:50, 5 July 2006 (UTC)

- I think it should be here because everybody I talk to always wants to know what is coming. If you can think of another way to list it, let me know or make the changes.

- Everyone you talk to who lives in Roseville wants to know what's coming to Roseville. As it stands, a list of stores that takes up a full 1/3 of the volume of the article that is ONLY of interest to people who live in the Roseville area, seems dubious. What if someone were to add a list like that to the article about New York City? The list violates the NPOV rule of Wikipedia, as it caters to only a small group of people. Try creating an article titled "Stores and Services in Roseville, CA" or something. You can put the list there. I'm taking the list back down from the main Roseville article. - I don't know why somebody who didn't live in Roseville would even care about this site. If they live somewhere they shouldn't even care what is going on in roseville. Plus, people outside of the city want to know what's coming because Roseville is a regional shopping destination, so people come from far away to come shopping here. (EM)

- I have started a shopping section under economy. Do you think this is a better way to display this? (EM)

[edit] Roseville Explosion
I added a little bit of information about this major but for some reason, un-remembered incident. I tried not to plagiarize the referenced article. For some reason (I'm betting on the vicodin I'm on for a knee injury :) I labeled it as "roswell explosion". I'm a ninny, I know. Kajmal 22:02, 28 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Removal of Information on The Fountains?
I noticed that a user removed information on The Fountains, the new shopping center planned for the corner of Roseville Parkway and Galleria Blvd. While the information was worded as if it were an advertisement, I think that there should be at least a small section explaining that the center is coming.
The Fountains is expected to be a major addition to the city -- a sort of one-of-a-kind shopping experience that is new to the entire Sacramento region. An explanation of the center, as well as a list of the specific tenants planned for the location seems relevant to me. It is responsible for other major changes coming to the immediate area as well, such as roadway improvements and significant expansion to the existing Galleria mall.
Seems like a big deal to me, and definitely worth mentioning. Thoughts?

- They were removed by another user. I will try to add something about the galleria and the fountains again and try to find a better way of displaying them. (EM)
