I have suggested that Sado Island be merged into this article because the city consists of the entire island. Hence geography, history, etc. overlaps.—Tokek 15:46, 27 July 2005 (UTC)

It would be nice and appropriate to have some mention of the Sado Okesa folksong (and dancers), the famous circular tub boats of Sado, and perhaps the Edo gold mines with pictures, all of which are symbolic of Sado. Any photo sources? Doc Rock 15:08, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
