Sagan om Karl-Bertil Johnssons Julafton is Per Åhlin's animated movie adaptation of Tage Danielsson's short story of the same name, telling a hearth-warming tale of a modern Robin Hood who takes from the rich to give to the poor people of Stockholm on Christmas Eve. Karl-Bertil Johnsson's Julafton has gained huge popularity in Sweden, and is broadcast every Christmas Eve on Swedish and Norwegian national television.
