Photo of Saint Boniface. According to http://magnificat.ca/cal/engl/06-05.htm, the photograph is from the book: Little Pictorial Lives of the Saints, a compilation based on Butler’s Lives of the Saints, and other sources by John Gilmary Shea (Benziger Brothers: New York, 1894). This attribution is in keeping with other images on the internet purpotedly from this book, which all look similar. Since it was first published in the United States 29 years before 1923, it falls in the Public Domain.
