Salangen is a municipality in the county of Troms, Norway.
The municipality is situated along the fjord Salangen, and also includes inland valleys. Most people live in Sjøvegan, the municipal centre.

The municipality is named after the fjord Salangen (Norse *Selangr). The first element is selr m 'common seal', the last element is angr m 'fjord'.
