Sam Barlow High School

Sam Barlow High School is a secondary school located in the countryside of Gresham, Oregon. It was named for the pioneer Sam Barlow.
As of 2006, the school enrolls around 1900 students accompanied by 150 staff members. The school principal is James Hui. Barlow High School has defeated their rival school: Gresham High School in the glorious sport of football for the last 7 years now.

- Fred Jones - A shooting guard who has played for the NBA's Indiana Pacers, Toronto Raptors, and Portland Trail Blazers
- Brian Burres - A left-handed relief pitcher for Major League Baseball's Baltimore Orioles.
- Eric Matthews - recording artist, arranger, and trumpet player. Recorded for Sub Pop Records (1995-1999), and Empyrean Records (2005-present).
- John McEntire - record producer, recording artist, and drummer for such acts as Tortiose, Sea and Cake, and Bastro.
