Sam Rampello Middle School

Sam Rampello Middle School was opened in 1997, and in 2005 was relocated to a new facility on Washigton Street in downtown Tampa, Florida.
The school is named in honor of Sam Rampell, a lifelong educator who served for 18 years on the Hillsborough County School Board. Sam Rampello died in 2005 at age 64.
The school colors are red, black and silver.
The school mascot is the Pirate.
