Samantha Carrie Johnson (born November 9, 1984) is a beauty queen from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania who competed in the Miss USA pageant in 2007.
Johnson won the Miss Pennsylvania USA 2007 title in a state pageant held on 19 November 2006. It was her first attempt at the title. Johnson represented Pennsylvania in the Miss USA 2007 pageant which was broadcast live from an as-yet unnannounced location in the spring of 2007.
Johnson graduated from W.B. Saul High School of Agricultural Sciences in 2002 and later completed a degree from Temple University. She is the cousin of Candace Allen, Miss District of Columbia USA 2006 and made an appearance at the Miss District of Columbia USA 2007 pageant where Allen was farewelled as the outgoing titleholder.
Johnson will spend her reign making appearances and volunteering with charities. She has established her own non-profit organisation "Republic of Promise" which supports impoverished children in Liberia.[1]
