Samuel Oghale Oboh, [1] Architect, Consultant; Born on 1971 March 27 in Lagos - Africa is a registered Architect in the Province of Alberta in Canada and South Africa. Samuel graduated from the Bendel State University (Now Ambrose Alli University) Department of Architecture with a second class honours upper division class in 1992. He proceeded to the Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria where he obtained his Masters degree in Architecture in 1996.
As a LEED Accredited Professional(R) of the United States Green Building Council (USGBC), Samuel is committed to providing innovative sustainable design solution to projects he is involved with. Samuel's love for architecture, sustainable design and environment, paintings and photography developed during his formative years in 'green' unpolluted Africa. This love and his avowed committment to creating and developing comfort for mankind led to numerous architectural stints and projects in Southern Africa and North America that are responsive to it's environment in what he calls 'Architecture with a Soul' and architecture that is simply simple! Some of the Projects Samuel oboh has been involved in include: The Refurbishment of the Federal palace Hotel (Sheraton Victoria Island); The Botswana Police College project, Resident Architect of the International Law Enforcement Academy (ILEA) in Otse, and Resident Architect of the Maun District Hospital project. Samuel was also involved in the award winning Edmonton Police Service South East Division Police Station and a host of other projects.
Samuel Oboh is a chartered member of the UK based Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA), Registered Architect with the South African Council for the Architectural Profession (SACAP), Registered Architect with the Alberta Association of Architects (AAA) and member of the Cape Institute for Architecture, Cape Town - South Africa.
