Sangameswarar Temple

Sangameswarar Temple is a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva in Bhavani, Tamil Nadu.
Sangamam in Tamil means 'join'. As the Kaveri River and Bhavani River join in Bhavani, the deity here is named as Sangameswarar.
In the temple, near the Ambal Sannithi, two statues are seen, on which when water is poured, the statue's face may appear to either laughing or crying. When the kings ruled the place even some mines are been carved, from this place to Chdambaram.
