Satoshi Horio

Satoshi Horio is a character in the popular Japanese manga and anime series Prince of Tennis.
He is a first-year student like Ryoma Echizen and claims to know everything about tennis. He constantly brags about his "two years of tennis experience", when in fact he is a less than average player. He often explains to his first-year friends the rules when either Inui or Inoue aren't around to do so. Also, he catfights with his best female friend Tomoka Osakada very frequently, with Tomoka almost always getting the upper hand.
Horio once filled in for Ryoma when the latter was late to the St. Rudolph matches. In this case, "filling in" meant taking Kaoru Kaidoh's regular jersey and shooting his mouth off, which led to a challenge from one of the other school's players, who demanded that Horio (then pretending to be "Echizen") back his words up. Just before Horio was beaten, Echizen showed up to bail him out, at the expense of a week's worth of juice.
He has an older cousin named Junpei, who has "two years of biking experience" and helps Kintarou Tooyama from Shitenhouji to reach Tokyo. This happened in the Nationals OVA.
