ScientificCommons is a project of the University of St.Gallen Institute for Media and Communications Management. The major aim of the project is to develop the world’s largest archive for scientific knowledge which is freely accessible to the public.
ScientificCommons is a service which aims to give the scientific community the possibility to navigate and search through publications and author lists (e.g. Sergey Brin). Included into the index are currently OAI-compliant repositories and personal websites that are enhanced throughDublin Core in their HTML headers. From early 2007 on it will be possible for researchers to upload their own publications and fulltext documents as well as to create personal profiles.
