On the morning of April 5, 2007, Cam'Ron called into Miss Jones' Hot '97 radio show and officially changed his album name from "Shade of Black" to "Courtesy Curtis." The article can be read here.
Shade of Black is the 6th album from rapper Cam'ron. Its release was initially scheduled for December 2006, but has since been pushed back to first-quarter 2007.
The album will feature production from The Runners, Cool & Dre, The Heatmakerz, The Alchemist, and Scott Storch. Juelz Santana and the whole Dipset crew are said to be on the album as well as Fat Joe, The Game, Lil' Wayne, Damon Dash, Eddie Vedder, Krayzie Bone and T.I.
The first single is "Weekend Girl" and the second single is rumored to be "You Must Not Know Bout Me", a diss song attacking Jay-Z. Most of the album, however, Cam'ron will address 50 Cent and resemble the Ja Rule album "Blood In My Eye."
