Sharon plain

Sharon (Hebrew: שרון Sārôn) is a region of the central Israel's coastal plain. Its capital is the city of Netanya (pop. around 190,000).
Sharon is bordered by the Mediterranean Sea on the west, Mount Carmel on the north, Samaria on the east and the Tel Aviv metropolitan area on the south (the Yarqon River is considered the southern geographical border).
