Shiney Row is a suburb in Houghton-le-Spring, Tyne and Wear. With good travel links with the rest of Sunderland, City of Sunderland College also has one of its main centres located in Shiney Row.
The area includes Biddick Hall, Lambton Castle and Lambton Park, the ancestral home of the Earls of Durham including Antony Claud Frederick Lambton, the former 6th Earl of Durham and known before 1970 as Viscount Lambton and subsequently as Lord Lambton in a 1973 Parliamentary Scandal .
