The Shire of Boddington is a Local Government Area of Western Australia based in the town of Boddington ( ; post code: 6390). It covers an area of about 1,900 km² in the eastern Peel region of Western Australia generally to the west of Albany Highway about 120km south-east of the capital, Perth. It has a population of 318 (ABS 2001).

A road board had been convened at Marradong 8 km to the south in 1903, but it was relocated to Boddington in 1925 after the arrival of the railway and construction of suitable buildings. In 1961, the Marradong Road Board became the Boddington Shire Council following changes to the Local Government Act.
