[edit] Errors
If I stop editing these pages, erors will start creeping back almost immediately. Some errors Ive spotted so far:
- Shiraz was capital briefly during Saffarid times, not "Safavid" times.
- Wine was not discovered outside Shiraz. It was discovered outside Urmia.

The page says "It is also believed that the name of the Shiraz grape originates from here as well (although the grape itself has been shown, through genetic testing, to have originated in France.)", although this is in direct conflict with the page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shiraz_grape Seanahan 19:10, 9 September 2006
