Shooting dice
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Shooting dice is a common game that can be found in the urban parts of big cities. Mostly thought to be played by African Americans, dice is a game completely based on chance. Only two players shoot dice in one game at a time. One person is the shooter, or the person actually rolling the dice.
1st: Each person takes one die (only 2 are used), and rolls it. Higher roller is the shooter. After this each player lays down one dollar bill. 2nd: The shooter rolls the two dice, and there are three possible outcomes.
- If the shooter rolls a 7, or 11, he or she wins automatically.
- If the shooter rolls a 2, 3 , or 12, the other person wins automatically.
- But if the shooter rolls a 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10, then proceed to step three. This number is called their point.
3. If the shooter rolls point, their goal is to roll their point again before they roll a seven. 4. If they roll their point first, then they win. If they roll a 7 first, their opponent wins. The winner then collects the dollar bills and gets to keep the shooter position until he loses a game and forfiets being the shooter to the other player.
Note: It is common to shoot for other objects such as shoes, shirt, watches, cigarettes, etc.
