Silvia Poll Ahrens (born September 24, 1970) is Nicaraguan-born swimmer from Costa Rica.

Poll was born in Managua, Nicaragua. Her parents were Germans who settled in Nicaragua where they had Silvia and her younger sister Claudia Poll, who is also a competitive swimmer. After the 1972 earthquake of Managua and rising political tensions, Silvia's parents decided to move south to Costa Rica.
Poll is a former backstroke and freestyle swimmer for Costa Rica, who won the silver medal in the 200m Freestyle at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea. She's the older sister of another swimmer from Costa Rica, Claudia Poll, who made her name in the 1990s.
