If I have posted a question on your talk page, I would be appreciative if you would reply there, and vice versa, so as to keep the conversation in one place. Thank you!
I have tagged Image:Marlin Fitzwater.jpg as {{replaceable fair use}}. If you wish to dispute this assertion, please add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}} to the image description page and a comment explaining your reasoning to the the image talk page.
It should be possible to find a public domain image of Fitzwater, since he was an official of the U.S. federal government. Thanks. Chick Bowen 21:30, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
- I found this one and added it to the article. Do you have any objections if I delete the old one? Thanks. Chick Bowen 06:27, 7 March 2007 (UTC)
- No, not at all, sorry, about the outburst, was having a bad day. ▪◦▪≡ЅiREX≡Talk 07:37, 7 March 2007 (UTC)
- on second thought couldn't it be added to the artcle, it's his most famous book, it's up to you either way i'm ok with.▪◦▪≡ЅiREX≡Talk 07:44, 7 March 2007 (UTC)
- It could, but there would have to be a specific discussion of the book. Could you write a paragraph about it--major themes, arguments, etc.? Chick Bowen 21:09, 7 March 2007 (UTC)
- after preveiwing the book with a small paragraph in what he discuss in general, it just doesn't look right, his article is too short and the shot of the book cover/paragraph crowds it, if I or someone else expands the article, I'll re-upload the book cover, you may go ahead delete it til then, the picture you added looks great by the way, I did a google search on .gov sites trying to find a goverment release of his photo with no real luck, I did see this one which didn't look right with the group of people with him standing in the background, I didn't think of cropping it, but instead went with book cover, anyway nice job ▪◦▪≡ЅiREX≡Talk 22:13, 7 March 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, you're probably right. I've deleted it for now. Let's hope the article expands a good bit and the book will make more sense. Thanks for your good humor about this. Chick Bowen 04:53, 8 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:Sully Erna.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Sully Erna.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Muchness 18:50, 3 April 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry, I just noticed that it was User:Passive, not you, who uploaded the version of the image I tagged. I should've posted this notice to that user's talk page. --Muchness 00:34, 4 April 2007 (UTC)
