Six Flags St. Louis (formerly known as Six Flags over Mid-America), is an amusement park owned by Six Flags, Inc. It is located in Eureka, Missouri, USA (in what was Allenton). Opened in 1971 as the third theme park of the Six Flags chain, this was the last park that was built under the Six Flags name.

Screamin' Eagle, once the fastest roller coaster in the United States opened in 1976 and is located in the back of the park. Other rides include Batman the Ride, The Boss, Mr. Freeze, Xcalibur, and The Ninja, as well as many others. Superman: Tower Of Power, a very large 230 ft. Intamin Giant Drop at 63 mph, from AstroWorld, opened May 19, 2006, and Bugs Bunny National Park opened on April 1, 2006. The park will open Tony Hawk's Big Spin, a Gerstlauer Spinning Coaster in 2007, replacing the Sherwood Forest Theater.

A water park designed for families, Hurricane Harbor opened in 1999 adjacent to Six Flags, as a free water park available with admission to the theme park. The water park has many slides, pools, and interactive play areas. The Tornado debuted on May 28, 2005.

One of two separate Arrow Dynamics Mine Train roller coasters.

This side/track was closed in 1987 and was removed in 1988 and sold to Dollywood.

River King Mine Train 1971 Arrow Dynamics Mine Train Located in Gateway To The West (originally part of the France section).

One of two separate Arrow Dynamics Mine Train roller coasters.

In 1984, the ride received a custom made Stand-Up train and became known as Rail Blazer, however, it was a mechanical nightmare and caused a person to fall to their death during its first year as Rail Blazer. In 1985, the Stand-Up trains were removed and the ride was then reverted back to River King Mine Train.

Other Names - The River King Mine Train (1971), River King Run-Away Mine Train (1972 - 1983), Rail Blazer (1984).

Rockin' Roller 1975 Bradley and Kaye Little Dipper Located in 1904 World's Fair ("Fairgrounds") - formerly Looney Tunes Town and Goodtime Hollow.

Location moved from south side of kiddie area to north side (next to Log Flume drop) in 2006.

Screamin' Eagle 1976 Philadelphia Toboggan Coasters wooden roller coaster, designed by John C. Allen. Located in Illinois section.

Opened as the world's tallest, longest, and fastest roller coaster.

Received new PTC trains in 1990, replacing the original PTC trains.

Jet Scream 1981 1988 Schwarzkopf Looping Star Located in USA section, where Batman: The Ride is located today.

Replaced Super Sports Car Ride.

Indirectly replaced by Ninja, ride moved to Six Flags Astroworld where it operated as Viper until the park closed in 2005, then the ride was scrapped.

Ninja 1989 Vekoma Custom MK-1200 Located in Studio Backlot.
