Slim Jim Phantom

Slim Jim Phantom (born James McDonnell, 20 March 1960, in Brooklyn, New York) is a rock drummer, best-known for his work with the band, The Stray Cats. He also played drums in several other groups. He is currently a club owner.
Phantom, along with bass player Lee Rocker and guitarist / frontman, Brian Setzer, formed the rockabilly band The Stray Cats. With a unique stand-up drumming style, his simplicity became well-known on the rockabilly scene. The Stray Cats split for a while in the mid-1980s, and during that time, Phantom and Rocker joined together with guitarist Earl Slick to form the eponymous group Phantom, Rocker, & Slick. The group recorded two albums, the first of which included the hit, "Men Without Shame".
Phantom grew up in/along the Long Island area. He was married to Britt Ekland between 1984 and 1992 . They had one son, TJ McDonnell von Shrempkin, who now works at the Roxy in Hollywood, and also plays in the band The LMNOP.
Phantom is the owner of 'The Cat Club' on the Sunset Strip in Los Angeles, California. He has also recorded with Lemmy and Danny B Harvey; they now go under the name "The Head Cat".[1]
