This page used to redirect to Futurama. The problem was that the futurama article barely mentions slurm at all. As the Futurama article is already long enough, (if not too long) I started a new page. - It should be noted that a List of Futurama products exists. IMO, if it is decided this does not merit an article, the ideal would be to merge it with List of Futurama products rather than Futurama or worse, deleting it. That said, I have no opinion on whether it should be kept or merged in that way. CanadianCaesar Cæsar is turn’d to hear 05:58, 5 June 2006 (UTC)

I removed the following two paragraphs from the "Origins" section of the article.
- The last season of Star Trek: Deep Space 9, corresponding to the season previous to the one Fry and the Slurm Factory aired on, featured an episode centered on a Ferengi businessman who owned "Slug-O-Cola," a drink that, while only inferred and referenced to, is very similar to Slurm.
- Also, the name "Slurm" may be a pun on the word Sperm.

[edit] Non-Futurama meanings
I'm tempted to remove the reference to the Linux utility, SLURM. If it has a place in Wikipedia, shouldn't it be on a seperate page or on one that is on such tools (as opposed to a page on fictional soft drinks)? --Swift 10:23, 18 May 2006 (UTC)
- And someone put it back in. *sigh* As a compromise I put a mention of the utility at the top in a disambiguation like way, pointing to a non-existant page on the utility. If it deserves any more, it should have it's own page. Until someone uses this talk page to iron things out I'll keep boldly reverting. --Swift 08:20, 24 May 2006 (UTC)

The logo heading this page has terrible colours. They're not even remotely close to the orignal logos. I've offered elsewhere, and been denied. I agree that Wikipedia isn't as in-depth as a Futurama-centric Wiki is and that logos aren't entirely necessary. However, in this case, I think this one could stand to be replaced.
