User:Solar/London terrorist attacks
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The events today act as a sad reminder to all of us that violence breeds violence. People have lost their lives, not world leaders or military men but normal people. It is a sad day for all those in London and the world who have worked tirelessly for peace, for all those who marched against the Iraq war (the largest in London's history) knowing the war was wrong. Knowing that the war would bring death to the innocent of Iraq (22,787 to 25,814 at present figures) and ultimately make the world more violent more unsafe and result in more terrorism. I am deeply saddened by this loss of life in the city in which I was born and my thoughts are with those who have lost loved ones. Tony Blair in his support of George W. Bush has brought this upon us all, may this loss touch his heart, and maybe he could learn the meaning of peace. - Solar 7 July 2005 22:20 (UTC)
