Sonic the Hedgehog is a fictional hedgehog character that serves as the mascot of the Japanese video game company Sega. The name is also the title of several entries in the Sonic the Hedgehog series of video games, and of several spin-off comic books and animated cartoons based on the game franchise.

- Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog, an animated TV series originally aired in 1993 in the United States; also abbreviated as AoStH.
- Sonic the Hedgehog (TV series), a different animated TV series in the United States that also began in 1993; usually called SatAM for its Saturday morning timeslot on the ABC network.
- Sonic Underground, an animated TV series that aired in the United States from 1998–1999, featuring Sonic and his siblings.
- Sonic X, an anime TV series, where sonic and his friends go on adventures and save the Earth from Dr.Eggman.
- Sonic the Hedgehog: The Movie, an animated movie featuring Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Hyper Metal Sonic; originally released as two OVAs in Japan.
