Sound Of A Gun is the third track by Audioslave on their third album Revelations.
The meaning of the lyrics is about the anxiety of living in this age particularly having a family and children and dealing with global insanity, tension and global violence and aggression that's happening in the world and it's out of control. Chris Cornell says that the lyrics are clearly expressed and describing this world of war.
