Your Time Has Come
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
"Your Time Has Come" is the second single by the American rock band Audioslave. It is found on their second album Out of Exile.
It makes a reference to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. ("...I've seen fifty-thousand names all engraved on a stone...")
It is also featured on the Soundtrack of the game FlatOut 2.
The band made a video for this song. It consists of powerful scenes from the live show in Cuba. (That was the first time a rock band from the US played in Cuba. It was in May 2005, and also a DVD came out about this concert.)
The main guitar riff has been compared to that of Metallica's "Bad Seed," despite that it is actually in the key of E, whereas "Bad Seed" is in the key of Db. Many Metallica fans believe that this song was actually stolen from Metallica.
