South Australian Super League
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The South Australian Super League (which, for sponsorship reasons, is known as the BEST League) is the highest state-level football (soccer) competition in South Australia. Nationally, it is one grade lower than the A-League. It is conducted by the Football Federation of South Australia (FFSA), the state's governing body. Each season, the champion is promoted to the Super League, while the bottom Super League club is relegated to the Premier League. Prior to the 2006 season, the highest level competition in South Australia was the South Australian Premier League - this league is now one level below the Super League. The current champions are Adelaide City.
