Special Representative for International Trade and Investment

His Royal Highness The Prince Andrew, Duke of York, KG KCVO ADC(P) is Special Representative for International Trade and Investment, for UK Trade & Investment (formerly British Trade International, and before that the British Overseas Trade Board) of the Department of Trade and Industry of the United Kingdom.
He took over from His Royal Highness Field Marshal The Duke of Kent, KG GCMG GCVO CD ADC FRS in this role in 2001. The role involves the Duke representing the UK at various trade fairs and conferences all over the world. The Duke of Kent had been Vice-Chairman of the British Overseas Trade Board, and later Vice-President of British Trade International and then International Trade and Investment from 1976.
