Talk:Spruce Creek High School

I think the "Students of Note" section is... biased. Christophernandez 18:29, 10 April 2006 (UTC)
It may or may not be biased, but it would be extremely difficult to contruct an NPOV section like this unless it was restricted to those who held offices or titles (teachers who are department heads, student council presidents, etc.) Even then, it would be an extremely long list. The section's encyclopedic value is minimal and is of little interest to the general audience. A better expansion of this article would be to provide the school's history, more information about the programs offerred (the IB section could be expanded, or there could be sections on the arts, athletics, etc.) Therefore I've deleted that (mostly vanity) section. 24.110.87.113 23:19, 18 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Citations Needed
Currently, a couple of facts need citations: The "top 100 schools" assertion and the "largest IB program" assertion (which is made also on the official Spruce Creek site, but lists no IBO page containing verification of that info).
Added citations for both the "top 100" and "largest IB program" statements. Removed 'unreferenced' tag. joeOnSunset 02:44, 1 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Mu Alpha Theta and Academic Team Sections
The Academic Team section contained much information that did not rise to the level of general interest, like the last name of the teacher who sponsors the group this year and the day and time of the groups meeting. Both sections had promotional-sounding information like, "For more information visit...". I've removed all of that in order to restore some encyclopedic quality to the article. --joeOnSunset 04:43, 16 October 2006 (UTC)
