Star Warriors or Hoshi no Senshi (星の戦士, Hoshi no Senshi^?) are a fictional creation from the Japanese anime Kirby of the Stars or Kirby: Right Back at Ya!

In the English dub by 4Kids Entertainment, there were several mistakes in their translation, including the omission of an entire group that was actually more prevalent in the original, the Galaxy Soldier Army (銀河戦士団, Ginga Senshi Dan^?).

Because of this, there have been many misconceptions over what exactly a Star Warrior is, but continued work on translating the original series has revealed much of the truth.

The Galaxy Soldier Army (hereby to be referred to as the GSA) is the name of the army that formed at an unknown point in time to battle the monster armies of the Nightmare Enterprises. Anyone who can fight can be a member of the GSA, in theory.

Kirby is described as being a young Star Warrior, and Meta Knight is said to be a Star Warrior and a member of the GSA. However, Star Warriors are not the name of their species or any species. In addition, being a Star Warrior is a matter of fate rather than conscious choice. (This is evidenced by how Kirby is one, but he's too young to have made that decision.)

So, while many Star Warriors are in the GSA- not everyone in the GSA is a Star Warrior. (The dub mistakenly calls nearly any soldier a Star Warrior.)

In addition, Star Warriors are spoken of in several legends, said to be 'the ones who will bring the universe to eternal peace.' They may have existed for millions of years, as the wise statue Kabu is said to have existed for so long- and the Kabu were originally created as shelters for Star Warriors.
