Steve Collis (born 18 March 1981 in Barnet) is an English professional football goalkeeper currently playing for Southend United.
Collis signed a two-year contract in 2006 to become Southend United's first signing ahead of the new season in The Championship.
The 25-year-old goalkeeper arrived on a free transfer from Yeovil Town, where he played 24 games during the last campaign and kept four 4 cleansheets.
Standing at 6ft 4ins tall Collis is determined to fight for a starting role alongside Darryl Flahavan, as he links up with his former Glovers team-mate Efe Sodje at the Club.
During his career, Collis has also played for Nottingham Forest, Tiverton Town and Aldershot Town (loan).
