Student Price Card
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Student Price Card (SPC) is a discount card for Canadian students. A new card is issued at September of each year, so it is bought at the beginning of the fall term. The SPC allows those that purchase the card to enjoy discounts at thousands of retailers across Canada. Businesses that offer discounts to SPC holders range from Greyhound Canada for travel, to Foot Locker for clothing, to New York Fries for food. The SPC is priced at $8 Canadian dollars plus tax and is valid until the end of July, when a new SPC is issued. Those that hold SPCs can also apply for bursaries of $500.[1] The Student Price Card requires "activation" once bought, which will allow cardholders to sign up for exclusive offers and sweepstakes through the internet.
