Bloodstone: Subspecies II (1993) is the second film of the Subspecies quadrilogy, which was produced by Full Moon Studios. Full Moon is famous for producing low budgeted horror films, like the Puppet Master film series.

Subspecies ended with Radu's headless body lying in the throne room and Stefan and Michelle (Denice Duff) peacefully sleeping until the next night. Radu's evil little minions, the subspecies, were not happy that their master was slain and begin to bring him back from the grave. The demonic subspecies reattach Radu's head and remove the stake from his heart. It appears that Radu (Anders Hove) requires more than just a stake to end his eternal life, thanks to his sorceristic blood.
Radu seeks out Stefan and Michelle and finds them resting in their coffins. Radu immediately stakes Stefan, causing Stefan to crumble to dust. Radu is about to kill Michelle but is thwarted when the sun rises, forcing him to retreat to his own resting place. When the sun finally sets it is Michelle that awakens first. She finds Stefan dead in his coffin, the Bloodstone still in his hands. She steals the Bloodstone and flees the castle. When Radu awakes and finds his precious Bloodstone gone he swears vengeance upon the "pretty one".
As Michelle tries to get in contact with her sister, Becky (Melanie Shatner), Radu seeks his banished mother, Mummy (Pamela Gordon), in a neighboring town. Radu's Mummy is a grotesque, disfigured sorceress who at first wants nothing to do with Radu. Radu informs her that he has killed his father and brother and that the kingdom is theirs again; she accepts him back and they plot their next move. When she learns that the Bloodstone was stolen she orders Radu to retrieve it and kill Michelle. It is revealed that Radu has been lonely and longs for the attention that he and his brother use to share during their fighting.
Becky comes for her sister but finds that she has run off, after being found "unconscious" in her bathtub and transported to the hospital. Lieutenant Marin (Ion Haiduc) and Mel (Kevin Blair), an US Embassy Agent, assist Becky in finding her sister. Michelle has been fighting her craving for blood. Radu finally finds Michelle and retieves his Bloodstone. Disobeying his Mummy, by not killing Michelle, Radu takes Michelle as his fledgling. Becky finds Michelle, Radu and his Mummy, and attempts to halt their plans. Unfortunately, Becky is captured and given to Michelle as her way to shed her mortal ties. Radu is about to drink from Becky when Michelle stabs him in the face with an enchanted dagger. Michelle sets fire to Radu's Mummy who flees the room in flames. When Radu tries to flee, via mystical shadow, Michelle stabs his shadow with the dagger stopping him. She then proceeds to stab Radu repeatedly with the dagger. Michelle unchains Becky and the two try and leave, but, Radu grabs Michelle's leg. Before he can do anything, Becky stabs Radu in the heart. The two flee the catacomb only to be greeted by the new day's rising sun. Becky tells her sister that she will wait for her. Michelle descends back into the tomb, only to be grabbed by Radu's Mummy and carried off.
