Sutter Avenue–Rutland Road is a station on the IRT New Lots Line of the New York City Subway. Located at the intersection of Sutter Avenue, Rutland Road, and East 98th Street in Brooklyn, it is served by the 3 train (all times except late nights) and the 4 train (late nights). It also sees occasional 2 and 5 service during rush hours.
A two-track station with two side platforms, it is the northernmost station on the New Lots Line; just north of here, the line goes into subway, curves westward under Eastern Parkway, and becomes the IRT Eastern Parkway Line. As with all the other elevated stations on the line, an unused trackway exists for a third track. Sutter Avenue–Rutland Road has a full canopy on the north end, and no windscreen on the south end. North of this station, there is a third track that ends at a bumper block.
