[edit] The Suite Life of Zack and Cody

Can you hold off creating individual pages for episodes until they have confirmed airdates? When one episodes order is moved we have to rearrange all the individual pages which is a pain. It would make it much easier if you hold off creating pages so far in advance. Plus, I believe Wikipedia's official policy is only a month in advance of a confirmed airdate. Thank You! Tazz765 03:13, 12 August 2006 (UTC)

I'm not the one creating the pages...I don't know who's doing it. How do you find info about Season 3?

I have no clue where people are getting information about Season 3 since it isn't even offically confirmed yet. Tazz765 17:04, 12 August 2006 (UTC)

Well actually Disney did confirm Season 3, but I've been searching like crazy on the internet and can't find anything about it so it must be Disney's people that are adding it... Switchfo0t813, 12 August 2006

Actually Tazz, Season 3 is already in the taping process, so please don't erase any of the Season 3 episodes thar Mmjoves posts. :)

[edit] Switchfoot

Please read the Talk:Switchfoot page before chainging Switchfoot to "Christian rock". Cheers :) -Andrew Duffell 10:03, 3 September 2006 (UTC)

I did. They are a Christian rock band. I own every one of their CD's, and they have Christian lyrics, and I have read interviews where they said they are a Christian band.

Blessings,

[edit] List of The Suite Life of Zack and Cody episodes

Why do you keep removing the images from the Zack and Cody list page? - Peregrinefisher 23:27, 12 September 2006 (UTC)

Umm, I haven't been. Is it you who keeps removing the thing about the hiatus?

switchfo0t813 September 12, 2006

[edit] Please cite

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome and appreciate your contributions, such as Aly & AJ, but we regretfully cannot accept original research. Please find and add a reliable citation to your recent edit so we can verify your work. Uncited information may be removed at any time. Thanks for your efforts, and happy editing! --Yamla 21:04, 3 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] List of The Suite Life of Zack & Cody episodes

The message you put at the top does not belong in article space, it should go on the talk page. It concerns how we're going to edit the page, not an actual Zack & Cody issue. - Peregrinefisher 01:45, 7 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Aly & AJ NR

NR means the song will never be released to that country. TBR means it will be, but hasn't yet. Why did you take off the NR?Tcatron565 15:31, 8 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Zack and Cody

Can we talk about this? - Peregrinefisher 18:22, 8 October 2006 (UTC)

Sure, but what I put up there stays for a bit or people will start posting Season 3 episodes. Not many people check talk, so it won't work there. - Switchfo0t813

Shouldn't we just keep it on our watch lists and revert as necessary? - Peregrinefisher 20:59, 8 October 2006 (UTC)
After another week or two I'll take it off, but leave it there for now, than we can do what you suggested. - Switchfo0t813

[edit] Sprouses

Sorry, but I erased. This is clearly a joke article... Mad Jack 20:37, 3 November 2006 (UTC) Actually, no its not. If you change it again, I'll revert again. Simple as that. =] Switchfo0t813 3 November 2006

No, it's not. Please see WP:V, WP:NOR, WP:RS and so on. You may not insert uncited content into article. Please insert a reputable source if you restore. Mad Jack 04:28, 4 November 2006 (UTC)
I do not understand. Do you have a reputable source that this film is being made? If yes, then it can be in the article. If not, it can not. Why do you keep re-inserting? Quite honestly, what's the value? Is it A. you believe the joke article above (i.e. "The other day, while we were rooting around in the dumpsters behind Disney HQ doing research for our upcoming exposé on the 1979 suicide pact that tragically took the lives of Huey, Dewey and Louie") or B. you have a lot of free time and you simply want to prove that Wikipedia is factually incorrect by continually inserting a film that you know you have no source for into the article? If it's A. then why don't we discuss why the source above is not factual. If it's B. I can point you to many articles that you can improve if you really want to productively spend time on Wikipedia! Mad Jack 04:51, 4 November 2006 (UTC)

Ok, why isn't the article credible?

The article was not meant to be credible or taken seriously. It was trying to be funny and prove a point, which is that there have been a lot of movies based on Disney World rides out lately. The joke part is the suggestions of which extremes Disney could take that to. I mean, obviously, with an introduction like "The other day, while we were rooting around in the dumpsters behind Disney HQ doing research for our upcoming exposé on the 1979 suicide pact that tragically took the lives of Huey, Dewey and Louie, we discovered the following confidential memo announcing the studio’s production slate through the rest of the decade" you know they're kidding. Mad Jack 08:03, 5 November 2006 (UTC)

Thanks! [1] is definitely a reliable source. I'll add info about the film to the Career section. Mad Jack 23:59, 15 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Jonas Brothers

Please do not remove valid content from Wikipedia, as you did to Jonas Brothers. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. If you believe that your edits are valid, please comment on them on the talk page, and remember to use the edit summary. Thank you. Ckatzchatspy 20:08, 19 November 2006 (UTC)

  • The information WAS NOT VALID that I removed from the Jonas Brothers. It was completely inaccurate, and I am re-doing it. - - - Switchfo0t813
In an effort (apparently) to delete a genre and an external link, you deleted the list of tracks from their album, notes about some cover songs, and a list of other songs. Why? --Ckatzchatspy 01:46, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
The Jonas Brothers are not a Pop/Punk band to begin with. There music is played on pop radio, but they are strictly a Christian band. The external link was not credible. It was a link to a freewebs website to promote the site. There is little to nothing about the Jonas Brothers on that website, and they have also posted that link on MANY other pages. About the cover songs and list of songs: I initially deleted them because they were not well written. I re-wrote them then posted it again. =] ----- Switchfo0t813
Thank you for restructuring the material about the songs. For future reference, you might wish to know that it is preferable to leave valid material intact UNTIL you get a chance to rewrite it, rather than removing it entirely, with the intention of rewriting and later reinserting it. Complete removal, especially when combined with a blank edit summary, can appear to be vandalism. --Ckatzchatspy 23:27, 22 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Don't delete warnings

Don't remove warnings from your talk page. In fact, you should not delete at all from talk pages. You can archive if you want, but don't delete stuff outright. Will (Talk - contribs) 04:22, 20 November 2006 (UTC)

So you can't delete your own posts from your own talk page? Not even a flame you made? 74.38.34.192 08:13, 7 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Sprouses

Apparently we're only allowed to use free images now.... i.e. not screenshots, but rather pictures that people took and released into the public domain... and that's going to be difficult.... Do you know where we can find a good updated, free image? Mad Jack 16:06, 23 November 2006 (UTC)

How about this one? http://ifmagazine.com/graphics/Unsorted/16_dylancolesprouse_ss_5837.jpg

-- Switchfo0t813

Well, it's certainly a fine picture. But we would need to know who took and if it is A. copyrighted, which means we can't use it unless it's B. in the public domain or the rights to it have been released.... Mad Jack 19:49, 23 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Summaries.

Hello Switchfo0t813,

I happen to have the Aly & AJ Wikipedia Page in my watchlist, and in your recent edit, I noticed that you haven't put any edit summaries in your contributions, including your recent contribution copy to Aly & AJ. Please put in summaries to tell people what you have edited, otherwise people will think that you have vandalized the page.

Also, try to make your edits and summaries as neutral as possible. I happen to have experience in bias on Wikipedia, so take my word for it. I learned a quite a valuable lesson from my mistake. However, I haven't been blocked.

Good day. Acalamari 02:58, 26 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Still Not Giving Summaries.

Switchfo0t813, I really suggest you put in edit summaries. It's unwise not to put them in. Acalamari 22:31, 27 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Stop Adding Removed Trivia

I just removed this from the Aly & AJ page:

Another User and I have already removed this twice before, making this at least the third time. Do not re-add it. Also, put in edit summaries. Acalamari 21:34, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

I am not the one removing that. But that stays because it is true and it belongs there. And if you are the one who keeps taking Into the Rush: Deluxe Edition off from discography, STOP. Switchfo0t813 21:43, 28 November 2006 (UTC)
I didn't say that you removed it; I said that you added it. Stop it now. User: Rosepuff12 orignally removed it, and I have removed it since. Rosepuff12 said that it is trivia that doesn't belong on Wikipedia. You have re-added it, so I had to remove it again. As for the Into The Rush: Deluxe Edition, I haven't touched that. Acalamari 02:41, 29 November 2006 (UTC)

I don't want to butt in, but limited trivia does belong. Just don't let it become more than 3-4 items. Will (Talk - contribs) 04:26, 29 November 2006 (UTC)

(Personal attack removed) —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 75.80.151.142 (talkcontribs).

[edit] Nonsense

Why do you continue to add nonsense and remove decent information to Wikipedia pages? While it it is fun to "constructively edit" Wikipedia, it is tiring undoing someone else's errors. I have had to correct several mistakes (and others users had to correct your vandalizing of the "Earth" page). Acalamari 21:34, 29 November 2006 (UTC)

So what nonsense are you referring to this time? Switchfo0t813

Hello. Before making potentially controversial edits, such as those you made to Nothing Is Sound, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Otherwise, people might consider your edits to be vandalism. Thank you. --T-rex 02:02, 30 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Let's End The Edit War/Sorry.

You know what? Forgot what I said about nonsense. It was wrong of me to write that. I’m very sorry. Instead, let’s try to find some common ground here. Neither of us wants to get caught up in an “edit war,” which is what we’re currently heading for. I have a solution to the trivia you add about Amanda Michalka dating one of the Jonas Brothers. Put that information on the Amanda Michalka page, in her “personal life” section. Her dating this Jonas Brother (whoever he is) is not trivia, it’s an important event for Amanda and Joe. I suggest we work on improving the Aly & AJ, Alyson Michalka, and Amanda Michalka pages instead of getting caught up in an edit war. It seems a better idea than fighting. The thing we should both do is limit our bias; I was biased on the Prussian Blue and Michael Richards Talk Pages, and you seem to have a bias in favor of your religion. I suggest we stop this and come to an agreement. What do you think? Acalamari 02:50, 30 November 2006 (UTC)

That's fine, I'll see what I can do. Switchfo0t813

[edit] Amanda Michalka

The information about AJ's dating relationship you added to her biography is unencyclopedic. It will be removed from the page as it is gossip and not fit to be in an encyclopedia. You can contact me on my talk page with any questions or comments. -Rosepuff12 20:34, 30 November 2006 (UTC)

No, this information is NOT gossip. Here's her blog: [removed blacklisted link] Scroll down to the entry date of September 4, 2006. There you go. And there's even a picture. Switchfo0t813

[edit] Into the Rush: Deluxe Edition

  1. On Wikipedia there is an established precedent that we have one article per album, and that every edition of an album is discussed in that one article. Creating separate articles is not useful for readers, particularly if the only difference between the two editions is the addition of a few new songs. Please do not revert again.
  2. Please remember to mark your edits as minor when (and only when) they genuinely are minor edits (see Wikipedia:Minor edit). Marking a major change as a minor one (and vice versa) is considered poor etiquette. The rule of thumb is that only an edit that consists solely of spelling corrections, formatting, and minor rearranging of text should be flagged as a 'minor edit'. Thanks!
  3. I have noted that you often edit without an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This is considered an important guideline in Wikipedia. Even a short summary is better than no summary. An edit summary is even more important if you delete any text; otherwise, people may think you're being sneaky. Also, mentioning one change but not another one can be misleading to someone who finds the other one more important; add "and misc." to cover the other change(s). Thanks! Extraordinary Machine 22:24, 30 November 2006 (UTC)
Even though it was "technically" a re-release, it can be considered an actual album too. There were 3 new songs, and 2 new remixes, which practically could qualify it as a whole new album. Oh, and don't tell me what to do. I can figuire that out on my own. Switchfo0t813.
The redirect has been restored, as per the precedent stated above. To assist with your concerns, I have created sub-headings for each of the different versions so that they are easier to locate. As for your comment to Extraordinary Machine ("...don't tell me what to do. I can figuire that out on my own."), please understand that notes like this are intended to help editors avoid common errors. You are not alone in receiving these reminders, and they should be taken as helpful tips, nothing else. If you choose to ignore them, you are only creating problems for yourself, and setting the stage for future conflicts. Cheers. --Ckatzchatspy 22:53, 30 November 2006 (UTC)
Why do have my talk page on your watchlist, Ckatz? -- Switchfo0t813
Probably because I've had to leave a note on your page in the past - the system automatically adds edited pages to the watchlist. --Ckatzchatspy 01:35, 1 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Vandalism?

My edit here is something you claimed to be vandalism (by writing "rvv" in your edit summary to revert my edit). It is not; the page was speedily deleted today. If you want to list the album under her discography, fine, but I will remove the wikilink to the "Deluxe Edition" of that album. Do not make personal attacks like this. I clearly stated in my edit summary what I did and why I did it. Please be more careful in the future. --King Bee 02:10, 6 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Reverting good faith edits

I'm sorry, but the anon who made this edit properly disambiguated the link. Why did you revert it? --King Bee 22:27, 6 December 2006 (UTC)

They removed the "Christian" from "pop" and I have to keep re-adding it. Switchfo0t813
That's not what I'm referring to. I'm referring to the edit in the link above, the one where the anonymous user disambiguated the "Cheetah Girls" link, which you reverted. --King Bee 02:31, 7 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Fair Genre

I'm one of the people who removes "Christian Pop" from the Aly & AJ page; however, in your recent edit you were fair in putting both "Christian Pop" and "Teen Pop." I see no reason to change this again; you were fair (i.e. unbiased). I congratulate you for this. Acalamari 03:01, 7 December 2006 (UTC)

I think I'll take this comment back; you seem to keep changing the genre back to Christian Pop. I am also annoyed at your summary of "reverting vandalism" when you know very well that I did not vandalize the Aly & AJ page. Acalamari 20:17, 11 December 2006 (UTC)

User, please stop reverting the Aly & AJ page. You are not only adding Christian pop as their genre, you are also removing the good faith edits I have mad that have fixed the citations in the article. I am reverting the page once more to change the genre back to Teen pop, and to fix the citations that I fixed before. We have discussed the legitmacy of Aly & AJ's genre classification as Christian pop on the article's talk page, and you have not decided to participate in the discussion. Do not revert the page again, or you will be in violation of WP:3RR. --King Bee 20:38, 11 December 2006 (UTC)

Please read the Aly & AJ talk page, where I have posted my statement about the genre. Switchfo0t813
You don't fully understand my complaint. You are reverting my edits that fixed the citations in the article. Please refrain from doing this, it is destructive and disruptive. --King Bee 20:45, 11 December 2006 (UTC)

You are in danger of violating the three-revert rule. Please cease further reverts or you may be blocked from editing. King Bee 20:47, 11 December 2006 (UTC)

That's a funny stop sign =]. Switchfo0t813
Did you not even read my complaint above? You are reverting my good faith edits. Why? --King Bee 20:52, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
I am sorry. I did not realize I was reverting your citations, I will no longer do that. However, you are reverting my good faith edits as well. Switchfo0t813
Your edits are not in good faith. When the discussions are going against your opinion, you edit anyway. --King Bee 20:59, 11 December 2006 (UTC)

Just because the discussions are against my opinion does not make them correct. Have you read what I posted in the talk page at all? Switchfo0t813

[edit] Stop Adding Christian Pop

Stop adding "Christian Pop" to the Aly & AJ page! You're vandalizing the page! You keep saying that they're a "Christian Band," but they're not. Even Christians acknowledge this. Acalamari 23:24, 12 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] SYP

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button Image:Wikisigbutton.png located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! King Bee 23:25, 12 December 2006 (UTC)

Stop removing my messages from your talk page. You usually only use 3 tildes; most people would prefer you use 4. It adds the date to your signature so people know when you signed it. Thank you. --King Bee 23:25, 12 December 2006 (UTC)

I believe you told Aviper2k7 about the Mediation, as did I. I suggest you return to the Mediation immediately. We have been waiting for you, and no decision has been made. Please come back. Acalamari 18:23, 27 December 2006 (UTC)

This edit is rich. You have been posed a question on the talk page for Aly & AJ. Please stop avoiding it. It has been more than a week. –King Bee (talkcontribs) 19:11, 27 December 2006 (UTC)

  • Switchfo0t813, please return to the mediated discussion. King Bee has been quite patient and co-operative in the discussion and I'm hoping that a peaceful settlement can be reached. If you truly believe your point of view is correct, I encourage you to re-join the discussion. Alan.ca 21:58, 27 December 2006 (UTC)
  • Switchfo0t813, instead of adding trivia to the Aly & AJ page which has been removed many times before, why don't you return to the Mediation? Acalamari 19:02, 28 December 2006 (UTC)
  • The Mediation is over. Thank you for your cooperation. The part you put in the article is a good compromise. Acalamari 04:07, 29 December 2006 (UTC)

Yes, I must say, I was very impressed by the way you handled yourself toward the end of the mediation discussion. I look forward to editing with you in the future now. =) –King Bee (talkcontribs) 06:33, 29 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Regarding my revert at Contemporary Christian music

Sorry about that revert. I guess I forgot to check for more recent history than what showed up. Someone added a commercial link that I was trying to revert. You appear to have missed it. So I am killing it manaully. Will (Talk - contribs) 00:18, 5 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Watch out when reverting please?

You reverted Miley Cyrus to restore Category:Christian musicians, which was fine (I'm not touching that argument). However when you reverted, you also rolled back a lot of disambig and formatting changes. Please check the full change between versions in the future, to avoid this in the future :) -- Ipstenu (talk|contribs) 21:14, 17 January 2007 (UTC)

I should shut up, I know. However I am touching that argument. Please discuss here on Miley's page so we can sort this out and prevent a revert war :) I know your edit was in good faith, I think that Miley's being real vague. -- Ipstenu (talk|contribs) 21:30, 17 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Two Words

You Rock! :^)

  • You believe in God.

Hahaa, nice to meet you. Switchfo0t813 21:25, 8 February 2007 (UTC)
