Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children is a computer animated movie. It was released in 2005 by Square Enix.

The movie is set two years after Final Fantasy VII ended. A mysterious illness, called "geostigma" is killing people. Children are affect by it the most. The hero of the story, Cloud Strife, has become infected by it. He does not tell anyone he is infected.
The three villains in the movie, Kadaj, Loz, and Yazoo, are trying to find the "Cells of JENOVA". The Cells are a lifeform which fell to the planet hundreds of years ago and tried to destroy it.
