[edit] Thank you for the welcome message
I just wanted to thank you for the welcome message you posted on my talk page! I mainly edit on the English Wikipedia (en.wikipedia.org), but I thought that having an account on the Simple English Wikipedia may prove useful, and I support the idea of a Wikipedia written in Simple English, and the advantages that it will have. Thanks again, Jatkins 16:47, 29 January 2007 (UTC).
- No problem; I was at until recently, but I moved here to try to develop other projects that have a greater need a larger workforce than (en) has. Hopefully, more editors will recognise the importance of this project and try to contribute more as a result. Once again, thanks for getting in touch - I'm always available at this wiki (so long as I'm online), so feel free to drop by any time. Regards, Anthonycfc [T • C] 17:13, 29 January 2007 (UTC).

[edit] 195.195.249.9 (talk)
Three warnings is standard, but not always mandatory. In the case of this IP, it was obvious he wasn't just testing with his opening posts. My first warning to him was test2 instead of test for just that reason. After that, you gave him 2 more warning posts, without looking back at the exact posts and times for the vandalism and warning, I had to take it at face value that he was warned a total of 3 times (2 test2's and a test3). Not really sure it mattered as that test3 says Final warning. The user vandalizes shortly after a final warning and I have no problem shutting him down. Especially if it was for posting pretty much the exact same thing he had been warned about before. His actions were not those of an editor; they were actions of a repeat vandal. Three strikes and your out does not always apply to them. -- Creol(talk) 18:48, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks - just wanted to make sure that there wasn't a lack of proper justice here. I fully support your actions, and I'm considering this matter fully resolved. Thanks for taking the time to get in touch - I do appreciate it. Feel free to drop by any time - I love conversing with the community. Kind regards, Anthonycfc [T • C] 19:27, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Re: Welcome
Hi Anthony cfc. Thanks for your welcome! :) FrancoGG ( talk ) 20:35, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
- Your welcome! I'm always here - come visit me sometime! Anthonycfc [T • C] 20:57, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Vandal
I was watching him on new changes, just had to wait until his next hit after my warning to block. Also, next time, please use Wiki:vandalism in progress instead of the admin page for vandal alerts. -- Creol(talk) 18:46, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
- That was about 9 vandalism posts he done there :) okay - I'll follow WP:VIP next time: I just wanted him/her blocked as soon as possible, so if WP:VIP is where sysops are watching, I'll post there next time. Cheers, Anthonycfc [T • C] 18:55, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Mike Salisbury AfD
[edit] Natural Burial AfD nomination
I have made a number of improvements to the Mike Salisbury article based upon your comments, unfortunately it has since been recommended for deletion. Would you please review my comments and weigh in on the issue. I have not had the chance to reply to all of the Natural Burial articles that have been tagged for deletion but will do so shortly. I am a little concerned that some have labelled these articles as a walled garden perhaps because of the focused topic, however other than the subject matter (natural burial) the articles are completely unrelated. As works in progress these articles require additional research and referencing however I believe they make a reasonable contribution to the encyclopaedia. I hope you will support my attempt to keep these articles alive. 74.114.129.70 15:56, 1 February 2007 (UTC)
- All of those links you've posted are red; are you sure the article exists? It's not been deleted - otherwise, the deletion would show up in the deletion log. Double-check your facts, and I'll be happy to help. Anthonycfc T • E 16:41, 1 February 2007 (UTC)

- Are you speaking about the wikipedia english article, Mike Salisbury? Anthonycfc T • E 16:44, 1 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Fundraising committee
Unfortunately, I'm not really the person to talk to -- my role on the committee mostly amounts to maintaining the cafepress store, and I don't get involved much in other matters. (I really like your talk page design, by the way.) Tlogmer 23:22, 1 February 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks for the compliment :P that's okay - I'll find an involved member. My thanks for taking the time out to post here. Regards,
