Seinfeld is thought to be a great situation comedy. It was created by Jerry Seinfeld and Larry David and ran from 1989 to 1998 (the first year it was named The Seinfeld Chronicles). It stars Jerry Seinfeld as Jerry Seinfeld, who plays Jerry Seinfeld in the fake show, "Jerry".

- Jerry Seinfeld (himself) - He's a comedian in New York, and used to date Elaine.
- George Costanza (Jason Alexander) - A real estate agent, Jerry's best friend. He can never seem to talk to Elaine.
- Elaine Bennes (Julia Louis-Dryfuss) - Jerry's ex, the only girl main character. Her hair changes throughout the show.
- Cosmo Kramer (Michael Richards) - His hair is very weird, and he always walks into Jerry's apartment. He never knocks doors, and is always coming up with new ideas.
