Winnipeg is a city in Canada, it is the capital of the province Manitoba.
Winnipeg is home to people from many different countries and cultures. Every year Festival du Voyageur is celebrated with pride. This winter festival represents the French part of this wonderful city.
Winnipeg is known for its cold winters and hot summers. Winnie the Pooh was named after Winnipeg.
Winnipeg's Mayor is Sam Katz. He is also the owner of the local semi-pro baseball team. The name of the baseball team is the Goldeyes.
