Richard Christopher Wakeman (* 18. máj 1949, Perivale, Londýn, Anglicko) je britský hudobník, jeden z najznámejších sólových hráčov na klávesové nástroje, mnohými považovaný za najvplyvnejšieho klávesistu všetkých čias.
Wakeman je virtuóz s klasickým hudobným vzdelaním známy z účinkovania v progresívnych skupinách The Strawbs a Yes a zároveň svojou veľmi bohatou sólovou karierou.
Hrá na celý rad klávesových nástrojov od akustickeho klavíra, čembala a klavichordu, cez elektrické hudobné nástroje po elektronické hudobné nástroje.
Mnohoročná hudobná kariéra Ricka Wakemana zahŕňa také štýly a druhy ako symfonický rock, art rock, New Age, neo-klasiku, kresťanský rock a tvorbu filmovej hudby.
