Anthrax är ett amerikanskt thrash metalband från New York, som släppte sitt debutalbum, Fistful of Metal, 1984. De var ett av de populäraste trashmetalbanden på 80-talet och anses tillsammans med Metallica, Megadeth och Slayer tillhöra "The Big Four of Thrash".
